Christmas 2020!

Image
I have had a sugar rush about Christmas recently and that’s exactly why I want to record it. 2020. Well you might think don’t even get started right? Yeah, me too. So in general, Christmas is an exaggeration to a few and obsession to some in most of the countries. How is it for you? In India, it is quite different. It’s the south east and south west coastal cities (inland too) that celebrate Christmas with its true meaning mostly. Because that’s where the Christian minority of the secular country reside. There are a million different things about the festive that you’ll hear but they are not definitions but only perspectives and feelings. As a girl from India, it’s truly a dream for me to celebrate Christmas abroad. The setting physically and mentally is out of the world this season, there. There’s a family time, break from work, thanksgiving and a huge list more to cite them. In India, it’s merely a short list. Of course it’s a holiday, end of the term for only schools not even coll

Holmes and Reasoning Maths!

Sherlock Holmes and Reasoning Math! Welcome literature-math detectives,   Trust me, I will make it least boring regardless of your connection to the two disciplines within discussion today. This day I would like to present a comparative spot between literature and competitive mathematics.   How many of us love Sherlock Holmes series? How many of us have heard of Sherlock and Dr. Watson?   Almost all of us, yeah. Thanks to the genius, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle! One among the Sherlock Holmes novels is ‘A Study in Scarlet’. I have extracted a few lines for us from the conclusion of that novel. Let’s take a look at that. Images and Quotations are both available. This conversation happens between Sherlock and Dr. Watson. (The following lines do not contain spoilers of the novel).   “I have already explained to you that what is out of the common is usually a guide rather than a hindrance. In solving a problem of this sort, the grand thing is to be able to reason backwards. That is a very usef

Questions

Questions How much importance do we ever give to any question posed? How well do we encounter a question? What really is a question? When a fact is arranged in the format of a question how do we react to it? Do we like to ask questions or answer them? If you had an ounce of curiosity or a pinch of an answer when you read the questions above then you got to definitely continue reading. Many leaders bring forth questions. But how many of them answer it through their actions? Or seek the solution alongside the public? A handful? Once I had this math class where a teacher walked us through profit and loss percentage. He asked us a simple question. Well, might not be simple to some. “If the dress you love at the store has a discount of 10% and the market price is 2500. How much do you have to pay on purchase at the bill counter?” There were two hands up before I could do the math in my head. I was astounded. One asked, “Why do we want to know that, Sir? I pay what’s on the bil

I've got pink and ash but today I'm all blue!

I have got pink and ash. Today, I am all blue! Tiny Treasures Have you ever felt bereft, empathetic, enlightened and afraid all at the same time?! I have. Have you felt the excess joy brimming over, down your numb spine? I do this day. But I am not here now, I am not here today to talk about me but how I feel about you. If you feel I am getting things exaggerated so be it, what's life without drama?!      Drama. That's something common we shared. Acting. Good competitors onstage and offstage we were just contradictory beings who never realized the aura around us. If you think I'm talking about a guy, kill that now. I'm a straight stupid woman. So kill the second thought too.       Mentioning her name, pulling her into this would make things not alright. But today my fingers won't just stop tapping. My blue is here. My champ. I wanted to blow a forehead kiss without any social distancing and say that, ‘Woah Baby, you've gotta baby of your own’. That just seems
